Victoria Beckham is set to give birth on Independence Day (04.07.11).
The fashion designer ' who is expecting her fourth child, a daughter, with soccer star husband David ' has booked in for a Caesarean section at a private hospital near her Los Angeles home as the couple are keen for the tot to be born in the USA as everyone has been so welcoming since they arrived in 2007.
A source close to the couple ' who had originally intended to have their daughter in London's Portland Hospital on the same date ' told The Sun newspaper: 't's going to be a massive family affair in America. While the date hasn't changed, it was decided a Los Angeles clinic would be best for the immediate family.
'Victoria and David love America, its culture and her people, who have welcomed them with open arms. The most important thing is the health of mother and baby and things can always change at the last minute.
'But if it's possible for the baby to be born on Independence Day, Vic and David would be thrilled.'
The date will also mark the couple's 12th wedding anniversary.
Victoria and David ' who moved to Los Angeles in 2007 with their three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz after David signed for the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team ' have hired a house near the hospital so their friends and family can be near them once the baby arrives.
It is also thought the pair want to give their daughter a name that pays tribute to their adopted home, with Atlanta being the favourite.
The source added: 'David wanted a name that was relevant to their lives during the conception.'
