Met Ball 2011: Alexander McQueen honoured (video)
Telegraphy uk: The famous and the fashionable attend the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art to honour the work of the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
The 'Met Ball', fashion's equivalent of the Oscars, boasted a stellar line-up of Hollywood's A-list who turned out to mark the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition.
In attendance was royal wedding dress designer Sarah Burton. Miss Burton became creative director for the fashion house following Mr McQueen's death in February 2010. On the red carpet Miss Burton accepted congratulatory wishes from fans of the Duchess of Cambridge's outfit.
The star-studded gala saw appearances from rapper Jay-Z, who arrived with pop-star wife Beyonce Knowles, Mick Jagger and partner L'Wren Scott and Sir Paul McCartney and girlfriend Nancy Shevell.
Other celebrity attendees included actresses Demi Moore, Renee Zellweger and Gwyneth Paltrow, pop-stars Madonna and Rihanna as well as a host of famed fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney.

Candace Bailey Attack in Your Pants; Behind the Scenes of Maxim Photoshoot
Just when you thought you were really going to miss Olivia Munn from G4 and life would never be the same and you swore you'd never fap again in your parents basement, along came Candace Bailey and made it all better, or worse, or better and worse as the case may be. She's hot. She's blue flame hot. She's igneous rock prior to formation kind of hot. She's granddaddy's got a hardon after 20 years and won't leave grandma alone kind of hot. I can't wait to see more of Candacy Bailey, much much more in much much less, but, for now, have at a delightful ogle from the behind the scenes footage of her recent Maxim photoshoot
