Lindsay Lohan's Weekend Trip to the Sunshine State

Guarded by a team of security personnel, Lindsay Lohan was spotted arriving at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport in Ft Lauderdale, Florida earlier this morning (May 21).

The "Mean Girls" star sported a trendy look for her weekend travel, wearing a fedora, jean vest, black shorts and a pair of black platform booties as she made the trip to the sunshine state before starting her house arrest sentence next month.

On the career end of things, the troubled actress is drumming up some serious interest in the upcoming "Carrie" remake, as author Stephen King told Entertainment Weekly that he would support the casting of the 24-year-old for the lead role.

First voicing his curiosity as to why the remake is being pursued, King said, "The real question is why, when the original was so good? I mean, not Casablanca, or anything, but a really good horror-suspense film, much better than the book."

As for pondering a lead in Miss Lohan, the award winning author interestedly added, "Although Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White… hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast."

Lindsay Lohan Hasn't Given Up on Men

Lindsay Lohan is trying to get her life back on track and she wants to assure everyone that she's making some good life choices in the process. She was interviewed on an Australian radio show today and claims she's actually enjoying her community service, enjoys being alone, and has put dating on hold.

LiLo said on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" about her new outlook on life: “I lived at the Chateau Marmont for like two and a half years. I felt safe and I really trusted the people that worked there, I didn’t feel the need to go out, I could go downstairs and have dinners and meetings … everything was all in one place, I value being alone now, I love spending time by myself … back then I was afraid to be alone.”

She continued: “I did waste a lot of money staying there it was irresponsible of me. But I think everything happens for a reason. If you start forgetting things you start trying to fool yourself of what you did. And timing is everything. It gives you different perspectives on life.”

And, as for her love life, Lindsay seems to be putting dating on hold, though she claims she'd be up for dating dudes again. (Her last relationship was with Samantha Ronson.) Kyle said to the star: "We'd love to know whether you're like a lesbian or whether you're a bi ... 'cause boys wanna know if they still have a chance ... have we still got a chance?"

Lindsay responded with a simple "Yes."

Lindsay Lohan Restrains "Delusional" Would-Be Fiancé

Another day, another guy who allegedly thinks he's engaged to a celebrity.

Lindsay Lohan has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man she claims has been creepily stalking her since June 2009 via phone and text message and, more recently, by showing up at her home bearing chocolates and doctored magazine articles.
According to Lohan's declaration filed along with her petition, David Cocordan has called or texted her more than 100 times to express "delusional thoughts and irrational feelings about his belief that [he and Lohan] are in a relationship."

Lohan states that she has sicced her security director on Cocordan in the past, but that he has continued to "stalk and harass" her, following her to two public appearances and threatening to move close to her residence.

On May 11, Lohan says, he texted her, "I'm glad we are engaged," and told her he had a tattoo of her name. Then, on May 15, he texted her that he was on his way over to bring Lohan something. "I hope youll grant me a reception," Cocordan wrote, per the declaration.

Lohan says that a more graphic, profane text he sent on May 5 has left her fearing that he "intends to sexually assault me."

The declaration also states that an LAPD detective in the Threat Management Department looked into Corcodan and learned that he suffers from schizophrenia, is off his meds and has a "significant psychiatric history of acting on his delusional beliefs."

When contacted by E! News earlier this week when we got word that Lohan was becoming increasingly concerned about the man she has accused of stalking her, she told us, "I'm OK. Hiding out."

‘People Left Bleeding’ Following Lindsay Lohan Vampire Shoot

Photographer Tyler Shields says “it got intense” during a sexy photo shoot he recently did with embattled actress Lindsay Lohan and The Vampire Diaries star Michael Trevino where they portray vampires. In fact, it got so intense that Shields explains that “people left bleeding”!

Though Lohan has a lot of critics and a number of cards stacked against her at times, Shields had nothing but nice things to say about her when he blogged about the photo shoot. He wrote:

“What can I say Lindsay she takes it to another level the way she works is incredible she killed it and she killed Trevino who also I had only met twice before this but what an amazing guy I cant say enough about how great he was in this he left my house bruised and bleeding and loved every moment of it!”

He added that he and the actress had been meaning to something like this for some time and luckily Trevino “just happened to be in town.” He said of the shoot, “It was all meant to be!”

Over the weekend, Shields exhibited a bunch of his pieces in a show titled Life is Not a Fairytale. The set of four displayed photographs – taken a couple of months ago – plays up Lohan's red lips and fangs, including a provocative photo with Vampire Diaries actor Michael Trevino in which he bites her neck.

During the party, Lohan seemed to be in great spirits as she chatted with Shields and her sister, Ali.

"She's an amazing actress," said Shields. "I've shot Lindsay probably 20 times and nobody has seen any of it. This is the first little taste." (PEOPLE)

Lindsay Lohan is wasting no time completing her 480 hours of community service. Here is LL arriving at the Los Angeles Women’s Center Friday happy as can be entering the building. Looks like someone is glad they aren’t behind bars!

LL spent a little under three hours Friday at the downtown center, so she still has a good amount of community service to go. In the meantime, Lohan is hanging with friends when she can.

Earlier this week Lindsay went to her home away from home Chateau Marmont with 90210‘s Shenae Grimes.

It’s sounding like Lohan will have a lot of time to spend at Chateau because the likelihood she will actually go to jail is not high. Wonder if that’s the reason John Travolta & co. aren’t pulling the trigger on hiring her for the Gotti film just yet. (CELEBUZZ)

Lindsay Lohan's Theft Case Goes to City Attorney

Well, since Judge Stephanie Sautner's recent decision to kick the felony charge down to a misdemeanor, the case will be turned over to the Los Angeles City Attorney tomorrow.

"Because the charge was reduced by the court to a misdemeanor, the district attorney no longer has jurisdiction to prosecute the case and, therefore, we will give the case to the City Attorney's Office,'' said Sandi Gibbons of the District Attorney's Office.

City attorney spokesperson Frank Mateljan tells E! News that they were told this would happen, but have yet to receive a copy of the case.

Although Sautner sided with defense attorney Shawn Holley in reducing the charge, Lohan's probation violation didn't go unnoticed.

The starlet was sentenced 120 days in jail, in which she was released hours later on bail.

But LiLo still has to perform 360 hours of community service at the Downtown Women's Center and 120 hours of service at the Los Angeles County Morgue which is supposed to start sometime this week.

The bash was at an Olive Garden! In Burbank! Lindsay only drank water!

The event was a birthday party for Lindsay's good friend, photographer Tyler Shields, who turned 29 on Friday. He picked the restaurant, we're told, although he and his famous friends did have a private room.

Along with Lohan, other guests included Matt Dallas, star of TV's Kyle XY, and Lyndsy Fonseca, who has appeared several times on Desperate Housewives, and actor Simon Curtis.

"There were about 15 or so people," an eyewitness tells us. "It was pretty low-key but they all seemed to be having a great time. There was a lot of laughter and picture-taking, and everybody even sang 'Happy Birthday'."

Lindsay didn't let the party get in the way of her sobriety, our eyewitness says.

There was wine on the table throughout the party but Lindsay never touched any. She only drank water."

Lohan was featured in Shields' photo book The Dirty Side of Glamor last year.

Lindsay returns to court May 11 on the charge of stealing a necklace earlier this year. She is expected to plead 'no contest' to the charge, now reduced to a misdemeanor.

Lohan is also appealing the 120 day jail sentence given to her for violating the terms of her DUI probation.
